St. Timothy Catholic Early Childhood Learning Center was founded in 1988 to provide a stimulating, nurturing environment for children ages 3-5 years that promotes their spiritual, emotional, physical, cognitive and social development. We provide developmentally appropriate activities with a special emphasis on socialization, developing a positive self-concept and providing a good first experience in a school setting.
It is the philosophy of St. Timothy Catholic Early Childhood Learning Center to affirm and celebrate that children are a gift from God. We strive to work in collaboration with families as well as our parish and community to provide a nurturing, safe, Catholic environment where children are inspired to learn, play, and grow. Children encounter God, through developmentally appropriate activities with a special emphasis on a love of God, socialization, and a positive self-concept which provides a firm foundation for lifelong learning and achievement.
St. Timothy Catholic Early Childhood Learning Center provides a variety of developmentally appropriate hands-on activities for children to achieve the following goals: learn about the Catholic faith, demonstrate sound health, safety and nutritional practices, develop social-emotional competencies and self-help skills; cultivate problem solving skills; encourage children to think, reason, question and experiment; expand language and literacy development, enhance physical development; foster a positive self-concept; build creative expression and appreciation for the arts; respect cultural diversity; promote school readiness.
